Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. The singer combines jazz from the soul genre with R&B to create a unique mixture. From Broadway to European clubs and festivals, Avery Sunshine has been a hit all over the world. Sunshine, whose given name was Denise White. Although she is based in Atlanta however, her roots lie located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop an interest in music, singing and playing the piano at the church. She studied at Spellman College and began to learn the R&B style that is popular in Atlanta. Sunshine gained attention in the performances that took place over four days during the The 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing during Barack Obama's Inauguration in 2009.
